In the course of analyzing Villa Baizeau by Le Corbusier, Todoroki House by Hiromi Fujii, and Maison d’un Employé by Claude Nicolas Le-doux, we observed that each precedent exhibits two distinct behaviors: intersecting and interlocking. Notably, the manifestation of these behaviors varies among the three buildings. Our examination of the forms of these precedents began by identifying the seams where the walls and floors could be perceived as continuous entities, as well as the points where this continuity ceases. The continuity and discontinuity of these architectural elements serve as our notation for analyzing the precedents. Consequently, we developed various methods for assembling and disassembling the architectural models to illustrate the differing spatial forms.
