VOLUMETRIC MONTAGES

DESIGN II, THE COOPER UNION, FALL 2023
PROFESSORS: NIMA JAVIDI, ELIZABETH O’DONNELL, JULIAN PALACIO
INDIVIDUAL WORK

Students were given a site in Toronto and two families clients. Family A: Runs a design business and requires a design studio for working and meeting clients. Family B: Operates a daycare center, wishing to have the daycare center at the back of the residence building and requires balcony and an opening for parents to pick up children. Both of the two families require a central courtyard, shareble kitchen and section for entertainment. For the design process, I used modular elements for each function, including the design studio, daycare center, and shared sections. Each modular element are intercon-nected to one another.
